A continuation of Google Print debate. Both of these discuss whether or not Google should be considered a "digital library" in this sense and whether or not them backing down is detrimental to how people view libraries and copyright. Something I had thought about but without the legal background to understand the complexities. Well I went ahead and did it if only to skew the results.
Since I already had some of our new books lists being converted to RSS, I went ahead and tried it out as a screensaver on my laptop which now has OSX Tiger. Here’s a screenshot (crappy quality - looks much better on screen): An interesting idea and something that might be neat on public computers.
I have quite a few friends with mp3 players. Some have Creative, some iPods, some others. The ones that have iPods bought them mostly after trying mine. Mine is an old one (Gen 2 i think) that was the first to have the touch wheel. I personally like this more than Gen 3 as the touch buttons don’t give as much feedback as my normal ones. I wouldn’t mind a click-wheel though.
Most of my time is now spent in an online world. Hopefully I'll get enough time to post some information to this one.
